Hello, I found this web-forum as I began to search Mixman DM2 Driver for WinXP (Blue Box).. I'm in Turkey right now, and "megaupload.com" is forbidden by governments web-security.. Can you upload Installation CD to the rapidshare.com or depositfiles.com, please..?

Hi all
I'm trying to install my DM2 on my new system running WinXP but am experiencing much the same issues as others have posted here.
I have my original CD.
I've downloaded and installed from an iso I found via torrent called DM2 Install Software & Drivers. It also contained a system update file entitled WMFADist.exe which I believe is the system update utility. I've run the setup.exe followed by the WMFADist.exe and vice versa and both methods get the same result. I run the DM2 software and get the flash intro followed by the DM2 configuration steps and then the software tries to run and immediately crashes with the following error message: DM2 Remixer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry... etc, etc... This suggests to me that I have the correct files to run things but somethings just not quite right. One odd thing is that, when I unrar the original rar file to get the iso, I get the following message: ! C:\Documents and Settings\Rob\Desktop\Temp\DM2 install software & drivers.rar: Invalid or corrupt authenticity information... Not sure if that's the source of the problem or not. If so, any links to a better iso/rar/torrent would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to see a downloadable file at the links in the OP either so I assume they're long dead.
Any help available would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Correction to above post:
I WAS able to figure out how to get the download from the link in the OP and it turns out it's the same file I'd found earlier from the torrent and it unrar'd without the error message so I thought all was going to be fine. Sadly, after installing both files, I'm getting the exact same results. No clue what the issue could be as every other program, pro audio feature and hardware runs fine on my system.
Any help, suggestions, ideas or thoughts greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

your trying to use the dm2 program soundslayer? why is all i can ask I'm not sure I understand the question but, basically, because I have the hardware and it's the only thing of it's kind in my studio arsenal. I'd like it to be functional and it currently is not.

Thanks, I was just givin a DM2 cuz someone was going to throw it away and I was like huh wait I'll take that. I simply thought it worked only in mixman (used to have fun messing with it back in the day) so I was like meh might help pass the time, then I find out no disk!!!! Awesome to see there are people still using these and even better yet to find out that I can use it outside of mixman as a regular midi controller, such a nice piece of trash

I think we are eco dj's pioneering a new frontier. its sad to see companies that just give up support and create millions of tons of electronic trash. With people like us we can change that and turn trash into a real treasure.
