Okay, my DM2 is working great with Traktor 3.whatever latest update, on XP home. Everything works awesome, DM2 to midi, midiYoke, etc. but my Xfader will not move all the way to the right. The values in DM2 to midi are 0-127max which doesnt cut it. I need 150 max?!@!! I have tried assigning it as a rotary, or just using the buttons A,B , and even using it as a pitch bend, but I really need the xfader to slide. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

0-127 is midi signals and has nothing to do with how far the crossfader can go left and right. and what your doing is your not programming it to be realative to the control zone. which i believe is like 1-4096 in traktor or something. So i think once you understand midi you should have no problem getting it to work. And i bet if you added a relative control to the midi signal itd work great.

Thanks for the response. My understanding has indeed deepened! I reinstalled the calibration tool from the mixman disc, and was able to reset the x-fader. I am enjoying experimentign with different set ups. Now I am on my way to my next album... thanx again djprotojeex.

I've got that same crossfader problem, but I'm mac based. I could hook the DM2 up to a PC and run that mentioned calibration tool but was wondering if that would be a fix that would carry over to when I've disconnected it and moved it back to my mac?
Any advice or more info you might share would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Mechno

No, of coz that can't fix any crossfader problems to calibrate the dm2 on any other computer as the calibration-data is always saved on the computer not on the dm2... But isn't there a calibration within the Mac driver?

well the mac driver control panel has a 'reset calibration' button. but it doesn't seem to do anything.

from my understanding the osx driver does not need to be calibrated as it was written with an absolute value. Also i tested on a g4 with no problem just now. and i never calibrated just set the triggers
