Is there anyway to get the drivers to work with windows 7? I've tried everything and i cannot get it to work
I've considered writing some new drivers for it but, i suspect without the source code of the originals that would be rather difficult to do.

I would really like to have this driver also, maybe if there's a lot of interest we could pool together to have someone who knows what they're doing write a driver and pay them. I actually would like a 64-bit driver created for Vista or Windows 7. I currently use Vista 64 Ultimate but if a driver for Windows 7 was created it should work for Vista too. It's a shame the DM2 is rendered useless because there's no driver - should be a pretty simple driver to create if we had source code.

I opened the project back up in win7 ddk and had more response i have been matching up the dm2's signal in midi ox's. i wouldn't jump for joy or anything just yet. But as one man who has to work 2 jobs i cant say i have hope for it being a anytime recent thing. If anyone wants to volunteer there services let me know. and unlike vista people shouldnt have a problem installing the dm2 at least i think.... i installed it configured 1 or 2 things and had it working in a hour my first try. vista however took some serious stripping to get it to work. so like i said anyone who wants it working on win 7 just get teamviewer and ill have it up on your pc in no time.

How does one go about loading the driver in the ddk? I would be interested in seeing if I might be able to help but I have yet to figure out how to load the existing dm2.sys into the DDK so I can scout the code.

any progress? It seems as if mixman isn't even a real company anymore - They've neglected the whole project since 2005
