If you want to use DM2 for vista or win 7 You will get a blue screen saying DM2.sys compatability error.
DM2 was made for older WIN OS... there is no driver for Vista, none for WIN 7.....
If you wana use DM2 get Virtual PC for your WIN 7 and download the XP pack via the microsoft website and then you can use DM2 in your Virtual win XP
'otherwise', buy a winxp cd from some one who still sells them and set up a duel boot would be the other alternative.
Running in compatibility mode doesn't seem to work, still get blue screen as soon as you plug the dm2 controller in the usb port.

Because the driver does not work... You will get a blue screen saying DM2.sys compatability error or some crap... DM2 was made for WIN XP... there is no driver for Vista, none for WIN 7..... If you wana use DM2 get Virtual PC for your WIN 7 and download the XP pack via the microsoft website and then you can use DM2 in your Virtual win XP Ok first off you it wasnt made for windows xp it was made way before windows xp was even conceived. It was made on a 16 bit operating platform.... xp is 32 bit operating platform. Hows about you get some balls and learn to dual boot, cd boot, Or learn to use linux like 14% of the PC world. Its not it wont work with vista. Its if your too lazy and you choose to not have it work. Name one benefit to using windows vista for djing, same for windows 7.... There isnt one. There isnt some epic feature they provide. An actually as far as it goes most software run better on xp cause they dont have a cluttered explorer running shading and all these things that are useless. theres over 200,000 more plugins, vst's, addons, dj softwares..... Theres not even an 1/8th of that, that are compatible with vista and win 7. So why dont you stfu and learn to know what your talking about. Cause to be honest you aint never gonna dj youll never be a dj. You could be like every other pampered fruit cake dj and have your parents invest in 10 grand in equipment for it to dj for you and id still do more then you with a dm2 and California Acoustic speakers. better thing would be dont buy a laptop that you cant dual boot... ya. seriously i buy a computer and in 25 minutes i can dual boot i can switch from o/s to o/s from one to the other with out even rebooting. Take the time to learn some crap. Go back to crappy produced dubstep with your stolen bass lines & FLs preset ripoffs. The more you try to steal peoples thunder the less chance youll ever have of being anything. Id have helped you through teamviewer and guarantee it will work in vista. But you had to douche bag out so good luck with the paperweight now. Thanks went to the top while Gimme got shot and you didnt get Sh!t.... Learn some manners in life cause your parents ought be ashamed they raised a D-bag. and the icing on the cake you say dont buy a mixman dm2. Well they havent made them in over 8 years i mean. Hey dont buy something that they stopped making almost 10 years ago..... I mean oh i have a 10 year old dm2 lets not get a 2-3 year old laptop put xp onit and make it work. i can get dual core 15.6" laptops for 50 bucks on craigslist milwaukee to chicago. What would it really cost to get a laptop that will work with if it your too unwilling to learn somethings. your comparing a o/s to a dm2 made 10 years before it. im getting sick of saying it... people want a mixman working instantly, but dont want to work to get a mixman working. Its how you can tell there mommy and daddy buy it all for em. Cause they never had to earn it to want it. to all the cool people we will get there. soon soon.

Haha you are classic !! You love to spit crap on here and change posts around and feel like a big man of some forums right? Wow... going to another country and running a person down? LOL... you must be a simple person right? I know mixmans have not been made in a long time, I was more referring to people buying them from trading websites, as most people these days either have vista or win 7. Sure you can do a duel boot, but half the people who have mixmans aint gonna bother with that... And another point, you running down some one elses dj name? I couldn't give 2 craps what you think about dj names, because it doesn't matter what the name is, it's about the skill of that particular dj. I only came on here because I had not used my mixman in years and thought I would give it a go. So I put a post up where people can read about how there is no driver for vista *which most people have*.. So please, go to NZ and talk smack haha coz I dont give a flying crap.
