Easy tigers.... I have created a little self extracting archive that put the Dm2Midi , Bomes and Traktor 3 settings right on your desktop! I have enclosed a ReadMe to help you copy them to the right place. Cheers !!! www.uploadhut.com/upload/79712.rar??

Nice work Ragga,
Thanks for this settings, it does work for me. The problem is that i can only scratch, no others fonctions are working for me
Is it only the settings for scratch or the global seetings ?
Do you have a description on own it works (switching decks, commands...
Thanks in advance

yeh ive set it up for various functions , see my artwork jpeg thing.... i could do way more but i dont have time ! This is very much a work in progress i plan to use the 4 buttons at the bottom to control DECK LOOP FX FILE at a later date but got to get my head round it !
Forgot to say the middle big long 'solo' button is a beat sync button now if you hit that from time to time you can scratch then punch it straight back into sync ! nice....
Also, i have assigned the A and B buttons either side of the fader to Mute (temporary until button released) for nice choppy scratch effects..
Is this crossfader and the radial buttons working? if not let me know and we will get you working...

Thanks for this quick answer. In fact, I did not check the tiff...I tought it was only an artwork ! Don't know why it was not working, I probably did something wrong. I restarted bomes and I imported settings again. Now the decks are fully working, A & B buttons are working also. I still have trouble thought : 1) The crossfader seems to have no effect 2) I did not manage to scratch C & D decks. The weird thing is that when the C deck has the focus and I try to scratch the left deck on DM2, the effect seems to be a fade to A deck...don't know if I'm clear. 3)The joystick is not working also but I guess It was not enable like for 2.5 and 2.6 Thanks very much for your help, Later !!

cool, good stuff, sounds like you are nearly there...
sorry i only set this one up as a 2 deck system but now you have me thinking! d**n ... im gonna work out the 4 deck thing!
i didnt impliment the joystick for anything as of yet because its abit erratic as you are trying to control the X and Y plane at the same time .....to map for example, the volume to the vertical move and the crossfader for the horizontal move, unless you are have really steady hands you will be fading and lowering volume all over the shop.... as the midi notes bleed into each other ... unless you have a very steady hand! will have to give this some more thought .... maybe i could just use it a control method for the effects gates.... hmmmm
anyway, regarding your lazy crossfader,
i would -
Go to Traktors 'preferences' expand the Hotkey & Midi folder select midi setup under X-fader check to see if the midi controller is named CC10 if not, go below and click 'Learn' whilst this is highlighted wiggle ya crossfader click 'learn' again when the dial shows CC10 'Apply' and close prefs window.... should work! lol hope so..!
That goes for all the buttons and switches really if you want to assign anything to anything just configure the chosen button in Dm2Midi either as a 'Midi Note' for single actions like radial button presses other random buttons or a 'Midi Controller' for anything that is variable like a crossfader or a scratch ring. The genius part about Dm2Midi is that you can have multiple events happening from one button press if you set it up right. I am just working this out its ****ing complicated ! lol
one love rasta... ;-)

now i'm not trying to downgrade your effort and hard work put into this, but 30 bucks is a lot of money just for a config file. especially when i only paid 20 dollars for my dm2. Maybe if it was 15 dollars instead of pounds, i'd pay it, but considering you offered it free at first, that seems like we're getting a crapty deal.

Your correct I did offer it free at first....
But after sending my hard-work to who-ever wanted it recieved no acknowledgement or thanks... ungrateful as you can get....
It has taken me months to perfect this.. Why shouldnt I get a reward for the dedication...
I resent that "nutsy deal" statement, if free enterprise offends you join a monestary...
