Hey everyone! I finally was able to install my old controller, and was surprised to see such a vibrant community still existing for the product. I hope to get back in the remixing game very soon! Do any of you have any experience using the controller with FLStudio or Deckadance at all?

i have ample experience with both. before i saw this post i actually was helping someone setup deckadance with the dm2. but fruity loops is fairly simple to setup. if you have trouble let me know with what and ill try to help you out.

Hah whoops, i didn't see the other threads before posting! for some reason the demo for deckadance is constantly freezing. oh well. i've got it set up and working wonderfully in flstudio now. My question now is, what other ways can it be useful other than with fpc and fruity scratcher?

you mean just in fruity loops.... for time purposes : GUARMAR: YES JUST IN FRUITY LOOPS.....
off the top of my head i can say bpm tap. a beat machine. in fruity loops you can use it like the mixman software almost. you can use it as a akai pad beat machine or something. sut up all the buttons and hit em and make nice hip hop beats. bpm tap for syncing. pitch control. to control the fx like the bands you can use it as a search wheel and the middle button as select. idk ive used it for so much its nuts....

you can use it with rewire and other aplications. im working on a vst pluging for the dm2 controller... so the dm2 can be used in a few programs what yet were not all sure. were still in the processing of writing the vst... along with a project weve been working on since june of this year for a program mostly based off of virtual dj... thats a program that works with the dm2 straight up all the macros and functions. mapped just plug the dm2 in load the program and you can go. its a csound and c+ build.... so well see where we end up when we are all done....
