very nice infinity!
I want more! a whole track that would shut the haters up.
I've never scratched on real tables (my parents always told me it was BAD!), other than transfering stuff.
so thats why i suck in that practice video - cause i suck on real tables..... but to me the response of the unit rocks.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. I still wish to remind you that this is only possible because of you guys. I did a fair bit of scratching on real turntables before I got 'digitallized' so I have a little experience where that is concerned. It is definitely not the same feel but it is the closest to it that we have come so far. @corporation: I will try to post another scratch sample by this weekend and thanks for the link to the image hosting site. ;D I just found that board. Very cool. I ordered my DM2 yesterday and I heard the scratching sound in use with Traktor should be much better.
I will listen to your samples after work at home.

*listens to your sample track* Ummm... wow... that's wicked. I want that set up, but I bet its a pain to do. I don't know diddly squat about programming. I still want backward/forward scratch mutes. >_< I would like to see individual mute on Forward/Backward scratch for the DM2 and Tracktor. I've got a few ideas but no clue how to make it happen. I have a setting that I made that is pretty good (for me anyway) I'd like to send it to someone else and let them fool around with it. Please see my "Improved way of scratching" thread for my idea of how to implement muted backward/forward scratch.

thats really good. I work with real decks and i gots to say it sounds realistic. I want to expand my views on djing and mess with traktor and a dm2 so I can have my taste on both digital and anolog...now if only we can get some type of crossfade that connects to the dm2 to get some hardcore cutting going down

I'd like to know what set up your using and exactly how I would get this set up to work for me. I am still using Dm2Midi and Traktor, so far I've been unable to figure out Bome or Midiox. And I don't know if I want to update to 2.6 (I'm using 2.5.3) though that scratch sounds incredibly realistic. I have been unable to figure out a way to do scratching by just spining the wheels, so I made my own custom button placement so I wouldn't be hitting my fingers when I spun the wheel and held the button to scratch.
