I'm far from a professional turntablist. In fact, I'd go as far as to say I suck. Actually, no I wouldn't! Anyways, if you get the right samples, you can do some pretty decent scratches using the stock software! All you need is a quick hand and your finger on the gate button. (i hate the shizzy slider, i never use it) aaahhh... fffresh... s16.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3D1WR5VMPRSXF1ACEQ59JAZA2Wp.s. i prefer the infinity's scratches. p.p.s. this is a small sample from the song "devistation" by dj q-bik. (i.e. me) there is vox but they're obviously not in it. p.p.p.s. you'll hear 2 really off scratches, one louder than the rest of the music. mainly cause i hit the Clari-Hertz sample.
