So, based on everyones great mods and suggestions here, I made my own variety based on the vinyl on the DM2, but this time, Ive adapted it a bit. I have raised the buttons, based on one of the other Mod threads where u put little stoppers under the scren thread holes that connect to the circuit board buttons. This raises the buttons up a bit and makes them much more responsive. I removed the plastic from both sides (That clear plastic stuff just gets in the way) On the right side, I cut a large hole in the vinyl, enough to uncover the buttons, but then re-attached the center. In other words, the outside rim spins, and the center vinyl part is stationary, but because the buttons are raised, I can tilt the center vinyl circle and still trigger the buttons under it. Its a bit hit and miss, about 4 or the 8 buttons work. On the left side, I just removed the center part and clear plastic completely, and raised the buttons. The end result is buttons that still work, plus vinyl feeling and feedback for the spinning rims! I used cement glue to attach the underside of the vinyl to the spinning rims, and heated a circle of metal I had in the kitchen, on the cooker, and then melted the vinyl to cut the circle in the center out. Anyway, hope u guys like it, any questions, dont hesitate to ask, and once again, thanks for this awesome forum to make me fall in love with this toy to use for djing:) <br>
