I just came across the Mixman Facebook site thanks to their recent email and they are asking a question about how many people would be interested in the DM2 driver being updated, so GO TO THEIR FACEBOOK SITE and you might want to make a whole topic or ADMIN of this send email to everyone on this forum about telling them YES we want an updated driver for the DM2. Here is their FB site, they said to like the FB site and then like the post about the DM2 so they know who is interested. www.facebook.com/MixmanOfficialAttachments:

Hi. I replied in another thread. Please note that the FB thing is almost a year and a half old. I have seen no evidence other than those posts that Mixman has any interest in creating usb drivers for Win7. It seems clear that they have been gearing up for the touchscreen generation of computers. So far as I can tell, the hardware usb controllers have been abandoned by Mixman. The only thing I can think of is that some lawyer told them to say they were working on it on Facebook so they have a legal leg to try to stand on in case a third party tries to help us stranded DM2 owners out. But, in case third party solutions do come along, I would hope that the courts would see through the FB thing.

PS: Here's what is currently at the Mixman site. I'd go with that over posts from January/February 2012. All older products of Mixman that ran on Windows 3.1, Win 95, 98, ME, XP are no longer officially supported. We believe those products will continue to work on the older systems they were developed to work on. As well, the P-Mix USB controller and the DM2 USB Controller are not currently supported and will not operate on Windows 7 Operating System. Soundiscs™, D-Plates™/Mixman Singles™ are no longer supported products.

By the way, I find it offensive that Mixman prominently features pictures of people using the hardware controllers to show how much fun it is [marketing!!!] while at the same time abandoning the users who initially supported the company by purchasing the controllers. How does anyone who buys their new line of products know they won't be abandoned? Steve
