Hey - I've been working on this for a while now and I've run into a problem, was hoping you guys could help.
I'm trying to use my DM2 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop. I downloaded the Windows Virtual Machine software and the Windows XP mode in order to install the software, and that all worked fine. Now I'm trying to get the usb controller hooked up and calibrated. When I plug it in in Windows XP mode and try to attach the usb device, it'll come up with the "looking for software" dialogue. I downloaded some drivers from digiblue.com but they aren't .dll files, and it can't seem to find them when it searches for drivers. I keep getting a message that it's not a "recognized Windows Logo device" or something.
I'm pretty new to all this, only been working on it for the past few hours or so. Been reading stuff on the forums and it seems like this just may not be possible on a 64-bit? Wasn't sure if that applied to the laptop while I'm in XP mode too.
Any help is appreciated - let me know what I can try next, or if this just isn't possible. Could I try the MIDI controller thing instead, and just use it with different software?
Thanks.
