Oh my freakin' god. I'm gonna get one too. Love the dm2, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

run to the store and buy one.
this is the ultimate controller for traktor. i am never using my dm2 after i've used the vci-100.
the jog wheels are top notch, the faders are butter, and the buttons give a satisfying 'click' - total quality all around.
blows my dm2/mixer combo out of the water.
every traktor user needs one of these units. seriously - they do.
i can't give this unit enough praise - it's that good.

well if your gonna spend that much theres better ones then this for midi controllers for a lot cheaper the point of the dm2 is the efficiency of 20 dollars. you show me a midi controller with scratch rings thats equivalent in price and i want it. but ive used them in our store there not scratch wheels there jog wheels blah they can kinda cut it but not really and for the price id rather use serato rewire with ableton or something so its lame. i have a vm3100 that does the trick for knobs but on ww.djforums.com its rated one pretty low on midi controllers Hercules beat it hahah good job on the monome i have a 256 but on the vestax no dj buys vestax hahahahahahah sept dj quik and qbert and well they dont buy them hahahah vestax
